What this mode does

This mode outputs a YouTube-friendly H.264 video suitable for upload.

The goal is a predictable, widely compatible file that uploads cleanly and avoids weird playback surprises.

When to use it

• You have a clip that’s “fine locally” but looks odd after YouTube processing.
• You need a clean, standard upload format from a variety of sources.
• You want a quick export without opening a full editor.

How to use it

1. Select YouTube H.264 mode.
2. Choose your input file.
3. Choose an output folder.
4. Click Convert.
5. Upload the resulting file to YouTube.

Notes

• YouTube will always re-encode, but a clean source helps.
• For best results, use a higher quality source and avoid multiple generations of re-encoding.
• If your upload looks soft, double-check your source resolution and your capture/export settings.
